In an innovative move to redefine customer
experience for its high-end subscribers across the country, Airtel has today
launched - Airtel Premier Club - a product designed to offer exceptional and personalized
services for customers.
The club presents a variety of unique offers and
services from the telecom company as well as other partners in various business
sectors.
The club will enable premier customers have
personalized credit services such as credit facilities, an exclusive website,
free sim replacement, priority services and discount with preferred partners.
In addition, customers travelling across Africa in
the 17 Airtel Operating Countries will also be allowed to roam on one network
with their local Airtel SIM cards, giving them access to cheaper
rates for calls made, as well as data/value added services and the ability to
recharge using local top up vouchers in the country visited.
Commenting at the unveiling event, Airtel Kenya
Chief Executive Officer, Adil El Youssefi noted: “We are today delighted to
introduce a revamped premier package for our customers across the country. This
product demonstrates our commitment to provide innovative and relavant products
and services to our customers.”
He added that: “The package will deliver a superior
brand journey for our high value customers by creating memorable brand moments.”
The package will also have one network profile that
allows customers to communicate at local rates, receive calls for free and
recharge partner airtime vouchers when they travel to at least 17 countries in
Africa.
The event was graced by high profile personalities
including Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Information, Communications and
Technology, Dr. Fred Matingi and Airtel Africa, Chief Executive Officer,
Christian de Faria.
