Free fuel for Nairobi motorists

Vivo Energy Kenya, the company that distributes and markets Shell-branded fuels and lubricants on Friday concluded its six weeks ‘Happy Hour’ campaign in Nairobi City where motorists fueled for FREE for one hour.

The Happy Hour initiative gave motorists an opportunity to sample for FREE the new Vivo Energy’s Shell FuelSave Unleaded and Shell FuelSave Diesel fuels that were introduced in the Kenyan market barely three months ago to enable them last longer at no extra cost.

“We want motorists and cyclists to sample our new fuels and experience the difference from regular fuels,” said Polycarp Igathe, Managing Director, Vivo Energy Kenya, at Shell Uja Service station, on Ngong Road.                                                                           

Launched in June 2014, the ‘Happy Hour’ campaign offers FREE fuel for an hour at designated Shell service stations across the country. So far approximately 10,000 litres have been fueled to motorists and motor cyclists throughout the campaign.

“To benefit from the FREE fuel offer, all you need is a Shell FuelSave bumper sticker, which is given out at all Shell petrol stations. You also need to be at the selected petrol station during the Happy Hour,” added Igathe.

Vivo Energy Kenya introduced Shell FuelSave Unleaded and Shell FuelSave Diesel to replace Shell Diesel Extra and Shell Unleaded and help Kenyans drive longer at no extra cost.
