Africa pay-tv provider Multichoice Africa has signed a partnership deal with TRACE Sport to broadcast sports entertainment channel to all DStv subscribers, excluding DStv Access bouquet subscribers.
TRACE Sport Stars, which will be available on DStv channel 188 was only available to Premium bouquet subscribers.
The decision to make TRACE Sport Stars available to most of the DStv subscribers is the increasing demand of the brand in Africa.
Laurent Dumeau, CEO TRACE Sport Stars said they were excited to “extending our deal with MultiChoice to bring TRACE Sport Stars unique sport and entertainment programing to a much wider audience base in Africa. With an ever-increasing demand for the TRACE brand in Africa it is important we reach those fans that have not previously been able to access the channel. We are confident the channel will bring those subscribers a great mix of content where sport meets glamour and scandal and where athletes reveal their real lives and personalities.”
