Crown Paints, the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) listed paint manufacturing firm will this evening unveil its plans to scale up its operations in Tanzania by building a manufacturing facility in Dar es Salaam.

The event is expected to take place at the Serena Hotel and will be graced by the Tanzania Minister for Industry and Trade Abdalla Kigoda.

Crown Paints already has a presence in Tanzania, operating a mini plant in Arusha with distribution depots in Arusha and Mwanza.

Besides selling its products in Kenya, where the company is putting up more retail outlets, Crown’s exports markets also include Southern Sudan, Rwanda, Burundi and Tanzania.
