The BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) service app is now officially available through Microsoft's Windows Phone store and will allow all Windows Phone users to chat with friends on any platform.
Previously available in beta mode, BBM app is preloaded with features including the ability to chat with your contacts one-to-one or to a larger group of up to 50 people. Users can also share photos, voice notes, contact details and location. As part of BBM Groups, every chat member has access to shared calendars and shared lists as well.
BBM broadcast will also be available, giving you a platform to instantly let everybody know what you’re doing, or thinking about – It’s here that you can also see what your friends are up to.
From a design perspective, BBM for Windows Phone will look and feel much like any other Windows Phone app, with features like the ability to pin live tiles from the app, giving you an experience you’re already familiar with.
