Bank announced Ksh200, 000 support for the 2014 ladies golf tournament
which took place in Mombasa last week.
About 100 golfers participated in the fourth edition of the prestigious Ladies event that took place in Mombasa Golf Club on Wednesday August 6th, 2014.
“National Bank is committed to continue its support to golf in Kenya and particularly among the women population as the country positions itself as a premium golfing destination in Africa,” said Munir Ahmed, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, National Bank.
“Events, such as this, are integral to the international recognition of Kenya as a golfing nation,” he added, highlighting the company’s key status as great supporters of sport in Kenya.
National Bank is a great supporter of sport in Kenya as the company firmly believes that the country is at the forefront of East Africa sports, be it golf or any other sports.
“We value the close association we have developed with The Kenya Golf Union, supporting its Ladies tournament. This is yet another great event,” said Mr. Ahmed.
