Emirates unveils special offers for Dubai shopping festival

As Dubai gets ready to welcome the world for the 20th edition of the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF), Emirates has announced special fares from Nairobi to Dubai.

The package which starts from USD761 per person sharing covers air fare, 3-night accommodation, breakfast, airport taxes and transfers and room service charges. 


“Our DSF packages which has been put together by our travel management arm- Emirates Holidays, offer incredible savings with a wide range of accommodation to suit all budgets, from 3-star to 5-star city or beach hotels and from Standard to Deluxe Hotel Apartments. DSF offers include ‘Stay/Pay’ offer, ‘Kids Go Free’ offer, F&B and Spa discounts, free shuttle service to city key attractions and free WiFi and much more,” said Ms. Anita Kongson, Emirates Country Manager for Kenya.

Amongst the choice accommodations Emirates Holidays has partnered with is Emirates-owned JW Marriott Marquis Dubai, the world’s tallest hotel at 355 metres.

Held from 1 January to 1 February 2015, the festival has grown to become one of the most anticipated shopping and entertainment extravaganza internationally.

Dubai is globally renowned for its vast selection of retail stores spanning 70 malls, including the world’s largest, Dubai Mall, which also houses the children’s adventure venue, Kidzania. The city draws large numbers of shoppers from countries within the region as well as shoppers from Africa, Europe and the Indian Subcontinent seeking variety, value and a great experience for the whole family.

 “DSF offers are valid for stay from 1 January to 31 March 2015, meaning that we have managed to negotiate for those lower rates with hotels for our customers to enjoy beyond the festival,” she said.

Passengers travelling with Emirates benefit from a generous baggage allowance of 30kg in Economy Class, 40kg in Business Class and 50kg in First Class. EK 719 departs Dubai International Airport every day at 1045hrs and arrives at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) at 1445hrs. The return flight, EK720, leaves JKIA at 1640hrs and lands in Dubai at 1040hrs.  Second flight EK 721 departs Dubai International Airport every day at 1505hrs and arrives at JKIA at 1905hrs. The return flight, EK722, leaves JKIA at 2250hrs and lands in Dubai at 0450hrs.
